How much roof space do I need for a 25 kW system?

Roughly 1,500–1,600 sqft of shadow-free roof for 43 mono PERC panels at 580 Wp. A typical 4,000–5,000 sqft Delhi NCR house has enough. We do a drone shadow analysis during the site visit and tell you the exact number — including how much usable roof you have after water tanks, AC units, and pergolas.

Is there a net metering cap for big systems in Delhi/Haryana?

Delhi caps domestic net metering at 10 kW per single-phase connection. For 15–25 kW, you need a 3-phase connection (most large homes already have one) and the cap rises to 500 kW. Haryana, UP follow similar rules. We file the 3-phase net metering application as part of the package.

Do I need to upgrade to a 3-phase connection?

Above 10 kW you do. If your home already runs multiple ACs and a lift, you almost certainly have 3-phase. If not, we coordinate the DISCOM application — it adds 2–3 weeks but is a one-time fix that helps everything in the house.

Will the panels be visible from the street and ruin the look?

On 4,000+ sqft homes, we route panels behind the parapet wherever possible. For street-facing setbacks we use all-black panels (slightly costlier) instead of standard silver-frame. Cable trays are concealed in ducting, not run across the elevation. We share the elevation drawings before installation.

What insurance covers the installation?

Bridgeway carries public liability and workmen compensation cover for the install crew. We share the policy reference before the team arrives onsite. Post-install, your panels are covered under our 25-year product warranty; the homeowner's standard property insurance covers theft and storm damage — we'll point you to insurers who cover rooftop solar.
