This policy explains what personal data Bridgeway Power ("we", "us") collects, why we collect it, how we use and store it, and how you can access or delete it. It applies to our website, our advertising on Meta platforms (Facebook and Instagram), our WhatsApp business channel, and our sales and service operations.
Who we are
Bridgeway Power is a rooftop solar EPC and O&M provider operating in Delhi NCR, India. We design, install and maintain rooftop solar systems for homes, housing societies, schools and businesses.

What data we collect
Data you give us directly
When you fill in a lead form (on our website, or on a Facebook or Instagram ad), message us on WhatsApp, or speak to our team, we may collect:
- Name
- Phone number
- Email address
- City, locality, address and PIN code
- Approximate monthly electricity bill and electricity consumption
- Property details relevant to a solar installation (roof type, ownership, whether you live in an apartment)
- Organisation or business name, where applicable
- The content of your messages and call notes with our team
Data we receive from Meta (Facebook / Instagram)
If you submit a lead form on one of our Facebook or Instagram ads, Meta passes us the information you entered on that form, along with the campaign, ad set, ad and form identifiers, and a lead identifier. We use these identifiers only to understand which advertising is effective and to avoid contacting you twice.
Data collected automatically
Our website uses cookies and similar technologies for basic functionality and analytics, and the Meta Pixel to measure the performance of our advertising.
Why we use your data
- To respond to your enquiry — to call, message or email you about rooftop solar, an annual maintenance contract (AMC), or a service request.
- To prepare a proposal — to size a system, estimate savings and subsidy, and schedule a site visit.
- To deliver and service your system — installation, net-metering paperwork, subsidy applications, and ongoing maintenance.
- To improve our marketing — to measure which campaigns bring genuine enquiries, in aggregate.
- To meet legal and regulatory obligations — including DISCOM, MNRE and subsidy requirements.
We do not sell your personal data.
Who we share it with
We share personal data only where it is necessary:
- Our CRM and communication tools — we store enquiries in our customer relationship management system and messaging tools so our team can respond to you.
- Electricity distribution companies (DISCOMs) and government portals — where required to process your net metering or subsidy application.
- Installation and service partners — where they are carrying out work for you.
- Where the law requires it.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry data for as long as needed to respond to you and, if you become a customer, for the life of your system and its warranty and statutory obligations. If you do not become a customer and ask us to delete your data, we will do so (see below).
Your rights
Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, you may ask us to:
- Confirm what personal data of yours we hold and get a copy of it
- Correct data that is inaccurate or incomplete
- Delete your personal data
- Withdraw consent to being contacted
Write to privacy@bridgewaypower.in and we will act on your request.
How to request deletion of your data
You can ask us to delete the personal data we hold about you — including any data we received from a Facebook or Instagram lead form — at any time.
Email privacy@bridgewaypower.in from the email address you gave us, or from any address, with:
- the subject line "Data deletion request", and
- the phone number or email address you used when you contacted us, so we can find your record.
We will verify the request, delete your personal data from our systems, and confirm to you by email within 30 days. We may need to retain a minimal record where the law requires it (for example, tax or warranty records for an installed system) — if so, we will tell you what and why.
Security
We restrict access to personal data to the staff who need it to serve you, hold it in access-controlled systems, and keep credentials in encrypted storage.
Children
Our services are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. The date at the top always shows when it last changed.
