How the 50 / 40 / 10 split works
One plant, one generation meter — and three beneficiary connections registered with the DISCOM. Each month, the units the plant exports are apportioned in the ratio agreed at sanction, and each connection sees its share as credited units on its own bill. No wires run between the properties; the sharing happens in the utility's billing system.

Synchronising with the DISCOM
The engineering was the easy half. Because no VNM plant had been energised under BRPL before, the allocation had to be established connection by connection: every beneficiary meter identified, consent recorded, the share ratio sanctioned, and the plant synchronised and net-metered before credits could begin flowing. Our founder described the work as navigating complex policy and regulatory requirements to build a model that others can now repeat.
